Trial Terms of Service

1. Agreement and provider

By requesting a verification code, creating a trial workspace or using the trial, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the business you identify. The trial is provided by Joony Technologies Pte. Ltd. (“Joony”, “we”, “us” or “our”), 8 Burn Road, #07-01, Trivex, Singapore 369977.

2. Business eligibility and account authority

You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to evaluate software for the named business. You are responsible for accurate signup information, account credentials and all activity in the workspace. Do not share owner credentials or allow unauthorised access.

3. Trial access

The trial is provided for 30 days unless we state otherwise. No payment information is collected through the trial signup. Continued access after the trial may require a separate paid subscription. Trial features, limits and availability may differ from a paid plan and may be changed where reasonably necessary for security, reliability or product improvement.

4. Evaluation and acceptable use

You may use the trial to configure and evaluate Joony POS for your internal business needs. You must not:

• use the service unlawfully, fraudulently or to process prohibited goods or activity;
• attempt to bypass security, access another workspace or interfere with the service;
• copy, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer or commercially exploit the service except where law expressly permits;
• upload malware, infringing material or data you are not authorised to use; or
• use automated access that creates unreasonable load or compromises other users.

5. Your data and privacy

You retain your rights in data you submit to the workspace. You confirm that you have the necessary authority and notices to provide that data. You instruct us to host and process it to operate, secure and support the trial. Personal data is handled under the Joony Privacy Policy. Do not upload sensitive personal data that is unnecessary for evaluation. Export or remove information you need before the trial ends.

6. Joony technology and feedback

Joony and its licensors own the service, software, designs, documentation and related intellectual property. The trial gives you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the service for evaluation. If you provide feedback, you allow Joony to use it without restriction or payment, without identifying you publicly.

7. Confidential information

Each party must protect non-public information received from the other and use it only for the trial. This does not cover information that is public through no breach, already lawfully known, independently developed or lawfully received from another source. A party may disclose information where legally required after giving notice when permitted.

8. Availability, support and suspension

The trial is provided for evaluation and is not subject to a service-level commitment. We may suspend access to protect the service, other customers or third parties, to investigate misuse, or where you breach these terms. We may end a trial that is abandoned, abusive or created using false information. You may stop using the trial at any time.

9. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the trial is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, suitability for a particular business, preservation of evaluation data after expiry, or compatibility with every device, printer, network, payment provider or third-party service. You remain responsible for business decisions, statutory records, tax treatment, backups and operational continuity.

10. Limitation of liability

Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable under these trial terms for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for lost profit, revenue, goodwill or data. Joony’s aggregate liability arising from the free trial is limited to USD 100. These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory and only to the extent they are reasonable and enforceable.

11. Governing law and general terms

These terms are governed by Singapore law, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not assign the trial without our written consent. We may update these terms for future trials; the version accepted when your workspace is created governs that trial unless a change is required by law or security needs.
